Where history comes alive

Starting from Zebegény, a special experience awaits you: the Nagymaros-Visegrád ferry all year round, runs every hour, so you can easily cross the Danube in winter and summer, even by car.

The journey itself is an experience - the river, the mountains and the slow pace of the journey set the perfect mood for the trip, while the wonderful panorama of the Danube bend opens up.

On the other side Visegrad welcomes visitors. The legendary Citadel offers majestic views of the Danube bend, while the era of the Hungarian kings comes to life.

An easy stroll, a little time travel, then coffee or lunch in the charming streets of Visegrád - an ideal half or full day.

The panorama is fantastic, we had a great time here. The host was very helpful, he was very flexible with our registration on arrival despite our slight delay. The breakfast was also very tasty and delicious. Unfortunately, due to my husband's compulsory Saturday schedule, we were unable to stay for only 1 night, but we can easily imagine returning.

Beautiful panoramic views, incredibly enjoyable at all hours of the day. Zebegény is a small, secluded village, the whole Danube bend is peaceful, time is not rushed and the accommodation is a jewel box. The rooms are tastefully furnished, equipped with all the facilities, the courtyard jacuzzi is a great way to recharge, and the designer is a great idea that could be used by other accommodation providers. We had a great weekend here, we will be back.
